Soap Star

Okay yes my life is now officially declared a soap opera. Could I have more drama of an interesting kind going on in my life? After having spent the last 24 hrs wondering WTF is up with Ben my ex, Daniel has now re-entered the picture. Does he deserve this role or should he exit the stage immediately? Not sure what's going on with this guy. Don't mind helping but he must understand that I have a new life with someone else or do I? To be continued.........

Flamenco Fest London 2010

Lastnight's show was really great. Maria Pages is a very fiery Spanish dancer and her troupe of dancers and singers were just as great. The music and dance were awesome. I always enjoy seeing this show in London and looking forward to the Ballet Nacional de Cuba, Ballet Nacional de Espana and Paco Pena shows in months to come. Sadler's Wells always has a wonderful show.

My Tuesday so far.

Just got more pics of my new little nephew. He's such a little sweetie. Can't wait to meet him in August. Would be lovely to give him a new cousin soon too ;-)
Finally got a room book for tomorrow night to see the flamenco show in Islington. It's gonna be fun or at least I hope. The last one was.
Tomorrow will be such a busy day. Kensington and Knightsbridge by day and Islington by night. Shopping, shopping and shopping. Gotta find my friends mum a pressie for the party of Saturday.
Hope things go well with D. Too bad that guy turned out to be such a f***** jerk. Why can't a man be more like a woman?

My first Saqarah show

Just returned from seeing the bellydance show presented by Saqarah this evening. It was absolutely great! Loads of fun and the crowd seemed to enjoy it as well. The dancers were really great from the beginners to the veterans. Loved the dancing, the costumes and the styles. These ladies are bold is all I can say. What love to have that much talent and stamina.
Next month I will not make the March show but I will try to see the April show. Of course next month I will be back in Istanbul and hopefully on this fourth visit I will finally see a show.

An aunt after all.........

Today has been an exciting day for me. I finally became an aunt to GPA. He's such a cute, sweet little bundle of joy. All 7 lbs 14 oz. J and E must be very excited. I'm looking forward to my own by this time next year. Hopefully fingers crossed and lots of prayers Benjamin and I are married and lucky enough.
Anyways Mr. GPA was born 18-02 same day as his great-grand-dad. I'm still in London so it will be another five or six months before I can see my little nephew.

My first bellydance costume

Okay I finally stepped out and ordered my first belly dance costume. I decided to first go with something simple, sexy and cheap. It's just a start. Belly dance is something I have been interested in for many years but never actually tried the dance in actuality. Yeah there was that nightmarish class that I took before in San Francisco. I was absolutly terrible! Indescribable.
I have seen a few shows, seen several DVDs. I love the Bellydance Divas and I love Rania and Marina. I envy those women. They are sooooo damn good. Guess I will have to shake this shyness away.
Anyways just got this lovely hot pink and silver sequin and satin top that will go with black bottom spandex pants and a nice black silver coin belt. See I said it would be simple and cheap. ;-)
It will be a minute before I can be like the girl in the picture.
